Super-150 fabric is considered to be a high-end fabric, as it is made from very fine, high-quality wool. This type of fabric is known for its softness, durability, and ability to retain its shape over time. It is also typically more expensive than lower-end fabrics, as it is made from a higher-quality material and requires more skilled labor to produce. All of our custom suits are made with Super-150 fabric, all the way up to Super-180. The higher the count, the finer the fabric.

In general, a high-quality custom suit made from a durable fabric like Super-150’s and up can last for many decades, even a lifetime, with proper care.

Most tailors and clothing alteration specialists have experience altering suits to fit their owners better and can make adjustments to the suit to ensure it continues to fit properly. However, it's important to note that the extent to which a suit can be altered will depend on the original design of the suit and the amount of weight you gain or lose. In some cases, it may not be possible to alter the suit to fit you perfectly if you experience a significant change in size; for example, losing or gaining over 25+ pounds is a general rule of thumb.
